I started the bug--or FlugBlug--because I wanted a place to blog and share some of my life experiences, but it turned into more of a creative outlet to express myself and my passions! I started as a humble tumblr user, having been on the site since i was twelve or eleven...but the blogs on there never seemed to fufill the need i had inside myself for more creative uses!! so, naturally, i learned html and css and I managed to create my own site!! so welcome!!!!!

and for me...i am just a silly guy! im a seventeen year old girl from the USA who is pretty introverted! i loved the fact that on the internet i could express my true feelings and my true self and immediately find people to connect with! i've been a blogger since 2017-2018, but i started this passion project around february of 2024! i found that blogging sites like tumblr and social medias tend to limit a person's creative flow, and creating my own website just sounded so fun...so here we are!!! (^_-)≡☆

i am just a girl in her internet world, but behind the screen of my laptop, i'm always exploring new hobbies and creative outlets! aside from web development, i also enjoy things like reading, drawing, sewing, and baking! my studies are always important in my life, and especially since i'm apporoaching my final year of high school. But apart from all of those things, I consider myself a HUGE music nerd. I play a lot of instruments, like the piano, the violin, the drums, and the guitar! I love learning about different genres of music and I LOOOOVEE!!! FINDING NEW BANDS!! my favorite bands are the cure and the cocteau twins! I also love art history and philosophy, especially absurdism. But I'm not just a girl who likes things, I'm also a person!! I like to think I'm very kind, although sometimes I can make the occasional harsh joke. I like to have fun and joke around with my friends, but I also enjoy a day alone.

besides my interests, i also have a passion for web design of course, as seen by my site. my dad is a web developer and I think it's so cool how you cna just create anything with a few simple lines of code!!! of course, Rome wasn't built in a day...
I think people need to appreciate web design more! I think that the early internet was such a wonderful and humble thing, and now it's been ravaged and turned into somewhat of a brainrotting mess. Of course, I understand that times are changing and whatnot, but I think everyone should indulge in something like a personal blog! Journaling is like a blog, but more private, but blogging can help people express their emotions and feel validated in a way that not only is cute, but helpful to the main web of the internet!!

I'm also really into subcultures and fashion! I love the alternative scene, such as 90s punk rock and 80s goth. ALTHOUGH...'00s japanese street fashion is a huge inspiration of mine..and I usually end up in outfits like that rather than my studs and rosaries. Of course...I always enjoy a good dress from the 60s!! aside from fashion, I also really like learning about different subcultures and what makes them part of the society as we know it! For instance, the American punk scene in the 90s really came from Germany during the separation of Berlin due to the Berlin Wall!
Apart from all that...I really am introverted. I have five or six super close friends, and I don't make new ones often. I enjoy a quiet afternoon alone, especially after a hard day at school. I like to listen to music and focus on absolutely nothing...but sometimes it's fun to go out skating and to the mall with my friends!☆(＃××)

Another thing about me is that I really love the supernatural! (Yes, the show too :3) I like learning about ghosts and aliens and especially cryptids! I really enjoy video essays about things like that, mostly just videos from channels like Wendigoon and Watcher (or Buzzfeed Unsolved...if you will) I consider myself a Shaniac, or an unbeliever in ghosts, but I find the ideas behind everything utterly fascinating!! My favorite cryptids are Mothman and the Mongolian Death Worm, but I always will get hooked on a good Bigfoot tale!! As for aliens...I mean, I just love aliens. They're so cute, how could you not like them?? The issue is...I'm a very paranoid person, so while I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, I do get scared after hearing a ghost story... (o.o)

I think my friends would say that I'm a kind person, as well as being unashamed of myself and who I am. I tend to observe everyone around me and focus more on the world rather than myself, which can lead to problems like dissociation and such. But I really do enjoy thinking, mostly about human nature and why things are the way that they are--which is why I enjoy philosophy so much. I really like existentialism and absurdism the most--mostly Camus and Kafka's writings. I like to try and get a better view on the world and what's going on with everyone and what's going on in their minds...
